Lynette Bonar, RN, BSN, MBA is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executive (FACHE) and a member of the Navajo tribe. As CEO, she started the first Cancer Center on Tribal Land in the US. This Center is part of the Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation, (TCRHCC), a 73-bed hospital and 4 satellite clinics, 20+ outpatient clinics (Primary, Specialty and Dental care), HRSA Van Programs. Ms. Bonar is a veteran of the U. S. Army and Active Reserve. She has experience as a past Oncology Certified Nurse for Radiation Oncology and Chemotherapy to include Home Health and Hospice.

Jill Kincaid founded “Chemo Buddies” in 2011 as a 501c3 non-profit when her sister Karen passed away from triple-negative breast cancer. Today, Chemo Buddies serve at every local treatment facility in the Evansville, IN region — helping more than 250 patients every weekday for a total of more than 66,000 patients in 2019. Other programs that have formed under the Chemo Buddies umbrella are “Student Buddies,” with chapters in 42 local schools, and “Beauty Buddies” which teaches women cosmetic techniques to deal with their new appearance. All of Chemo Buddies’ services are free of charge, supported by the community, and Kincaid and her colleagues are planning a multi-state expansion.

Lincoln Nadauld is Chief of Academics at Intermountain Healthcare and a medical oncologist. He founded the Intermountain Precision Genomics program with a vision of finding solutions to improve health and disease through genomics and precision medicine without increasing costs. He oversees the clinical implementation of precision genomics across Intermountain’s 24 hospitals and 160 physician clinics. In addition, he facilitates genomic research to better understand the human genome. Nadauld’s work in founding Intermountain Precision Genomics was recognized with the Utah Governor’s 32nd Annual Science Medal for Industry, which is the highest civilian award to be bestowed by the state of Utah and honors significant contributions to science and technology

When his wife Janet and daughter Samara developed ovarian cancer, Richard Dean took on the role of caregiver and traveled with them on the journey that cancer becomes. He welcomed an invitation to help start a Patient and Family Advisory Council at Johns Hopkins. There are now five connected councils in the various departments at Hopkins, and Rich serves as co-chair of the council at the Kimmel Cancer Center. Rich was also a catalyst for the creation of the Urgent Care Center at Kimmel — using his engineering background to help in the planning of the center and a modeling of the expected traffic.

Carolyn R. (“Bo”) Aldigé is Founder and CEO of the Prevent Cancer Foundation, a national non-profit organization she started in 1985 in memory of her father. Aldigé serves on the External Advisory Board of MD Anderson Cancer Center, the boards of directors of Friends of Cancer Research and the Intercultural Cancer Council, the Board of Oversees of the Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center, the advisory board of Project ECHO, the External Advisory Board of the Center for Thoracic Oncology of the Mount Sinai Health System, and the advisory board of Stand Up to Cancer. She has received public service awards from AACR, ASCO, and ASPO and been honored by the NCI.

Mitch Stoller is Vice President of Development for the American Association for Cancer Research and Chief Philanthropic Officer of the AACR Foundation. With more than 38 years of experience as a non-profit executive, Stoller’s leadership has been instrumental to many high-profile organizations, including the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LiveSTRONG), the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation, and the Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Alliance. He was responsible for and implemented the iconic LiveStrong yellow wristband campaign, which has raised over $100 million to date, and launched a fundraising paradigm.

An award-winning nonprofit leader and prostate cancer patient advocate for nearly 20 years, Jamie Bearse is ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer’s President & CEO. Since taking on the role in 2013, he has led ZERO in doubling the size of the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk, initiating its chapter structure, and launching its ZERO360 patient navigation program. With Bearse at the helm, ZERO also successfully championed an annual increase in prostate cancer research funding from $80M to $110M at the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs at the DOD, raised more than $100M for patient programs and support, and has transformed ZERO into a four-out-of-five-star rated organization by Charity Navigator.

Dr. John F. DiPersio is Deputy Director of the Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center, Director of the Center for Gene and Cellular Immunotherapy and Chief of the Division of Oncology at Washington University School of Medicine, and the Virginia E. and Samuel J. Golman Professor of Medicine. Dr. DiPersio’s research focuses on fundamental and translational aspects of leukemia and stem cell biology. These studies include identification of genetic abnormalities in human leukemias, understanding processes involving stem cell and leukemia cell trafficking, and clinical and translational programs in both leukemia/myelodysplastic syndrome and transplantation immunology. He has authored or co-authored more than 450 publications and over 60 invited reviews and book chapters.

Ysabel Duron is a pioneering, award-winning Latina journalist, a cancer survivor, and for the last 21 years, a leader in Latino/Hispanic cancer education, advocacy and outreach. In 2017, Ms. Duron founded The Latino Cancer Institute (TLCI) a nationwide network dedicated to developing and sharing best practice programs to enhance the work of Latino community service agencies, to provide collaboration with the global cancer research community, and drive policy to address the issues and diminish the burden of Latino cancer. Duron has served on the IRB of the All of Us Research Program at the NIH since 2016, is a member of the Advisory Board of the California Initiative to Advance Precision Medicine (CIAPM), a Board member of the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine, and serves on the CommuniVax National Working Group for the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security.
